Historian Paula Giddings joins us to talk about the subject of her new book – Ida B. Wells, anti-lynching crusader, journalist and suffragette. The book is titled “Ida: A Sword Among Lions;” Giddings teaches at Smith College and is the author of two previous books on the social and political history of African American women.
