Diaz served in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas until 1983, when he was appointed general counsel to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and was Philadelphia’s City Solicitor from 2001 -2004. He is currently a partner at the Philadelphia law firm Dilworth Paxson.
