    [REBROADCAST] KAREN RUSSELL has enjoyed critical acclaim and success since her novel, “Swamplandia!,” was published in 2011. It was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize and is being adapted for HBO. Her recent book, “Vampires in the Lemon Grove,” is a collection of short stories that continues her exploration of strange and fantastical worlds. She was born in Florida, lives now in Philadelphia, is teaching creative writing at Bryn Mawr and at Rutgers University. She spoke to Marty this spring to talk about her life and her writing life.
