A recent New York Times story portrayed a Bush administration public relations program involving retired military officers as a covert effort for positive war coverage. We’ll discuss whether the PR program was troublesome and how military analysts should and should not be used by the media. Our guests are WILLIAM NASH, a Retired Army Major General and WILLIAM ARKIN who served as a military analyst for NBC News from 1999-2007.
