Is there a migrant worker shortage?

Is there a shortage of migrant workers? This week one of Pennsylvania’s largest tomato farmers said he would have to switch to a less profitable crop, grain corn, because of he can’t find enough workers to harvest his crop. A situation he blames on our current immigration deadlock on guest workers. We’ll hear from KETIH ECKEL the owner of Fred W. Eckel Sons Farms near Scranton about his situation, then we’ll debate whether there really is a shortage of migrant workers. Our guest will be GARY SWAN the Director of Governmental Affairs at the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau, and MARK KRIKORIAN executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies.
