Is shifting public opinion changing comedy?

    Listen 00:48:44

    Guests: Scott Capurro, Robin Tran

Last month, Jerry Seinfeld added his name to a group of stand-up comics who are claiming that comedy audiences are becoming too sensitive when it comes to jokes and routines about taboo subject matter. Other comics such as Chris Rock, Patton Oswalt, and Gilbert Gottfried are concerned that political correctness, coupled with social media, has made being a comic harder than ever. Today, we’re joined by two comics, SCOTT CAPURRO and ROBIN TRAN who will discuss the current state of comedy, and what is and isn’t funny anymore.
