Listen 00:48:46

Guest: Peter Cappelli

[From the Radio Times archive] Hospital financing, casino management, international tourism – these trendy college degrees are being sold to students as a surefire way to land a good job after graduation. But Wharton School management professor PETER CAPPELLI says be careful – colleges aren’t always good at predicting where future jobs will be. Cappelli has written a new book about the value of higher education and how to decide if college, a specific school or a degree is worth it. He spoke with Marty about Will College Pay Off? A Guide to the Most Important Financial Decision You Will Ever Make earlier this summer.
