This hour we’ll talk about why bathrooms are often political battlegrounds, the history of sex-segregated restrooms, and the effect that it has on transgender people. And we’ll we look at the new Philadelphia bill as well as an app that helps transgender people find safe bathrooms. Marty’s guests are HELEN FITZPATRICK, Director of LGBT Affairs for the City of Philadelphia, TERRY KOGAN, professor of law at the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah, and JODY HERMAN, Scholar of public policy at the Williams Institute at UCLA Law School.
