Sea level rise awareness

You’ve heard us talk a lot on this broadcast about sea level change. There are experts in the state who say the First State faces the double whammy of a sinking land mass, while the seas rise. The state will be leading a series of discussions on the topic beginning Monday the 16th. As a part of that discussion, they’ll present this video produced by our friends at 3-0-2 Stories. We invite you to watch it as our First Look this week.

First Person: Brenna Goggin

First Person continues the conversation we began in our First Look, as it pertains to next week’s Sea Level Awareness Week. One of the people connected with that event is Brenna Gogin, she’s an environmental advocate with the Delaware Nature Society.

First Experience: The river pilots

We’ve focused this week on the Delaware coastline. Now let’s move out into the Delaware River and Bay. The river pilot is an essential part of getting goods up the Delaware River. First Experience rode along to see first hand what it takes to bring those tankers safely into port.
