Turf war
The partial government shutdown is hitting our soldiers and airmen where it hurts, in their wallets. If that wasn’t bad enough, the Delaware National Guard is also being pinched by the sequester. In our First Look, we learn the sequester could actually be a good thing for the guard in the long run.
Coyotes among us
Halloween is around the corner and one thing scaring some Delaware farmers and others these days? Coyotes. Cancer Motivation
While many people are familiar with breast cancer and the various awareness campaigns, the month of October still serves as a reminder for many of us to take action against it. First Person: Ted Kaufman
Former U.S. Senator from Delaware Ted Kaufman joins us for First Person this week to talk about the government shutdown and the danger of not reaching a compromise soon.
First Experience: The bark park
Dogs and people share the need to exercise. Both love to run, chase a ball or catch a frisbee. For dogs, there is a new place where they can do all that. The Glasgow Bark Park has been open for about two months now. From what we can tell, it’s a big hit. It’s also a First Experience that has gone to the dogs.
