Female suicide bombers
Last week in Iraq three women carried out a suicide bomb attack killing 25 people. The U.S. military reports that so far this year in Iraq there have been 27 suicide bombings by women, up from 8 in 2007. We talk with FARHANA ALI from the Rand Corporation about this disturbing trend. She has been studying the motivations of female studying the ideology and motivations of terrorist organizations and individuals including female suicide bombers.
