Faith: To Believe or Not Believe

Listen 0:52:16

Why is there tragedy and evil in the world? How do life events shape what we believe? How do we answer basic questions surrounding belief and spirituality? Victoria Zackheim posed these questions to 24 writers and compiled their thoughts in the anthology, “Faith: Essays from Believers, Agnostics and Atheists.” She joins us to talk about her own personal journey with faith and editing this collection. Malachy McCourt shares his views (and humor) as an atheist and we’ll also talk to to science writer Amanda Enayati about her life as a refugee, coming to terms with cancer and the balance of B’hai.
