EVE ENSLER, author of The Vagina Monologues, never received an apology from her father who sexually abused her as a child, so she decided to write one for him. In her devastating new book, The Apology, she writes from her father’s point of view, a letter to her, confessing what he did, why he did it, the damage he caused. Ensler comes in to talk about her book and the impact of writing it. We’ll also discuss her anti-violence activism – she founded V-Day and One Billion Rising – and get her thoughts on the #MeToo movement and the latest attacks on abortion rights.
