Have you visited the Equifax website to find out if you’re data – your social security and driver’s license numbers – were stolen during their massive security breach? Half of all Americans personal information is reportedly at risk. But a recent poll shows that while most consumers are worried about the Equifax hack, few are taking action to protect themselves. This hour, we’ll look more closely at the Equifax breach and what it reveals about our security online with MATT BLAZE, associate professor of computer science at the University of Pennsylvania and FAHMIDA RASHID, senior writer for CSO.
