Do Pennsylvania high school seniors need an exit exam?

    The Pennsylvania State Board of Education recently approved a requirement that students pass a series of state exams before allowing to graduate from high school. The requirement, which is the subject of considerable debate, is now facing a yearlong review process We hear opposing viewpoints as to the need for such a test from JOAN BENSO of Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children and TIM ALLWEIN of the Pennsylvania School Boards Association.
