Hour 2

Animal lovers and sports fans were shocked when the story broke that Michael Vick was running a brutal dog fighting operation involving fifty-one pit bulls.  Forty-seven of the dogs were rescued and became family pets and therapy dogs.  Sports Illustrated writer JIM GORANT tells their stories in a new book, The Lost Dogs.   We’ll also hear from MARTHINA MCCLAY, the mother of  Leo, one of the dogs rescued from Vick’s farm.
