Listen

Psychologist DAN GOTTLIEB has something in common with his grandson, Sam, other than their blood connection. They are both different. Gottlieb is a quadriplegic and Sam is autistic. Life is challenging for both of them – in different and similar ways. Gottlieb, host of WHYY’s Voices in the Family, has a new book, a follow-up to his previous book, Letters to Sam. It’s called The Wisdom of Sam and in it he shares some of the life lessons he has learned from his young grandson.
