Guest: Ron Fournier

Children with Asperger’s Syndrome often struggle with social awkwardness and for parents it can be a difficult thing to witness. So it was for RON FOURNIER, whose youngest child Tyler, was given the diagnosis at the age of 12. In Fournier’s new book, “Love That Boy: What Two Presidents, Eight Road Trips, And My Son Taught Me About A Parent’s Expectations,” he documents his own fears, failed attempts to connect with his son and what he learned during a series of road trips he took with his son to presidents and presidential libraries. Marty speaks with Fournier, a political columnist for the National Journal, about the book.
