Listen

Guest: Barney Frank

In his new memoir Frank: A Life in Politics from the Great Society to Same-Sex Marriage, former Rep. BARNEY FRANK explores his long and storied political career, which began in 1972 when he decided to run for Massachusetts’ state legislature. Eight years later he was elected to the House of Representatives and represented the Fourth Congressional District of Massachusetts until 2013. During that time, he went from being a closeted member of Congress to the first member of Congress to enter into a same-sex marriage. In this hour of Radio Times, we speak with Frank about his career in U.S. politics, surviving political scandal, some of the major legislation he worked on including the Dodd-Frank Act, what the future holds for 2016, and more.
