Listen 00:48:49

Guests: David Quammen, Beth Pratt-Bergstrom, Jeremy Cronon

We’ll discuss the 100th anniversary of America’s National Park Service with DAVID QUAMMEN, the author of four books of fiction and ten nonfiction titles including  ‘YELLOWSTONE: A Journey Through America’s Wild Heart.’ And we’ll find out why Yosemite is national park advocate BETH PRATT-BERGSTROM’s favorite place on earth. She’s the California Director for the National Wildlife Federation and has spent most of her twenty-five year environmental career in two of the nation’s largest national parks. And Marty talks with writer JEREMY CRONON, who spent 10 months visiting almost every National Park in the lower 48 states.  He chronicled his journey in his blog “chasingcairns.”
