Wired Beans to open in Chelten Plaza by month’s end

The long-awaited opening of Wired Beans Cafe looks as if its finally reality for Chelten Plaza in Germantown, after months of waiting.

Robert Wheeler, owner of the Mt. Airy based coffee shop which is expanding to a second location, said last week that the business will open its doors June 30 “or earlier.”

“Coming Soon” signs are still posted on the windows at the location which, next to the stairs leading down to the Chelten Avenue regional-rail stop, will feature outdoor seating, a kid-friendly lounge area, WiFi and, of course, food and beverages.

The store’s hours of operation are already posted on the front door.
