Wind blows roof off Smedley school in Frankford

Kindergarten students at Smedley Elementary at Bridge and Charles got a surprise today when the roof the small school house they were in blew off in the wind.

Firefighters arrived at the Frankford school just before 2 p.m. today in response to a call about wind damage. The main building was intact, but a small schoolhouse on the property was missing its roof

There were 40 kindergarten students in the building at the time, but no injuries were reported.
