Wilmington City Council is scheduled to vote tonight on a redistricting plan.

The 2010 US Census requires that each of the eight councilmanic districts have just over 8,500 residents.  A variation of plus-or-minus five-percent is allowed.  Council’s redistricting committee approved new maps earlier in the week – CLICK HERE.  Wilmington City Council’s meeting begins at 6:00 p.m. with the public comment session.
