Wildwood hosts new festival for country music lovers

Boots on the Beach, a new festival geared to country music lovers makes its debut in North Wildwood Sept 18-19, 2015.

It’s being billed as southern New Jersey’s largest country festival, y’all.

The highlight of the free, two-day event is an outdoor concert Saturday from noon to 10 p.m., featuring country cover bands Philbilly, Shot of Southern and Steel Creek.

Things kick off on Friday night with what organizers are calling a “bar hoodang”. Country music bands and disc jockeys will be entertaining the crowds inside every bar in North Wildwood’s entertainment district.
