White powder sent to Guadagno’s office was baking soda

Someone sent baking soda to N.J. Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno’s office today.

Of course, it took a little investigating to determine the white powder was baking soda.

The Associated Press reports Guadagno’s Statehouse office was quarantined for a few hours today while investigators studied the powder before deeming it not dangerous to buildling employees. And employee opening the mail notified authorities of the power immediately, and the incident remains under investigation. Police won’t reveal who or where the letter came from.
