Brick will experience its inaugural farmers’ market beginning later this month.

Situated at Windward Beach Park along the Metedeconk River, the market will showcase farm-fresh produce and a variety of prepared foods — such as pickled products, baked breads, relishes, pastries, and more — as well as fresh flowers and plants, according to a release from the township.

“We are excited to bring a farmers’ market to Brick,” said Mayor John Ducey. “This market will encourage the community to eat fresh and buy local.”

Funded through a federal grant, the market will be open between 9:00 a.m. and noon every Saturday beginning April 25 through Sept. 12 (except July 4) weather permitting.
