Sunday: Destination China: Special Squares
It’s second Sunday at the Penn Museum. This month’s Family Workshop is all about the beautiful rank badges and squares of China. Families will learn to design squares and explore Chinese military history. 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Free with museum admission.
The Franklin Institute presents Kitchen Science. In this session, learn the ancient art of cheese making with a modern scientific twist. 11:30 a.m to 2:30 p.m. in Wisdom Hall. Free with general admission.
Sleepover time with your favorite dinosaurs and animals at The Academy of Natural Sciences Museum Enjoy all the wonderful exhibits the museum has to offer after dark along with other special activities. 6:30 p.m. on Friday to 9 a.m. on Saturday. Call for ticket availability.

The Please Touch Museum, in its commitment to equal access, is offering a calm, low light environment with limited admission for families with special needs. Special programs from 9 to 11 a.m. Free but RSVP required.
