A water main break on Carpenter Lane and Mower Street has shut down Carpenter Lane between Germantown Avenue and Cresheim Road in West Mt. Airy. The water main break occured during utility work this morning, when workers hit a six-inch water pipe.
A PGW inspector onsite estimated the repair work will take a few hours.
