Wanted: Suspect for credit card theft in Chestnut Hill

The Philadelphia Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a woman who it says stole credits cards from a car in Chestnut Hill and is using them to make purchases.

Information released by Philadelphia PD

On May 22, 2012, at 6:45 p.m., the complainant parked his vehicle on the 7600 block of Crittenden Street.

When the complainant returned to his vehicle on May 23, 2012, at 7:20 a.m., he noticed an unknown person entered his vehicle and took his wallet which contained several credit cards and identification.

On May 23, 2012, between 1:00-6:30 a.m. an unknown female was captured on surveillance video using the complainant’s credit cards at several locations. The offender also arrived at each location operating a dark colored Buick sedan with dark colored wheels or hubcaps.

# Suspect Description:

Black female, 30-40 years-of-age, medium complexion, stocky build, wearing a blue hooded windbreaker, blue jeans, white sneakers, sunglasses and walks with a slight limp.
