[Video] Fast trip down the Schuylkill River to Philly

Recently, about a hundred hardy souls paddled down the Schuylkill River, from the quiet banks of Schuylkill Haven to the skyscrapers of Philadelphia.

The group traveled for seven days and 112 miles.

The annual Schuylkill Sojourn is in its 17th year.

Reporter Jessica Kourkounis filmed the trip using a video camera attached to the canoe she paddled. Because we know you don’t have time to watch several days of footage, we sped it up, time-lapse style.
