Victim identified in Delaware corner store shooting
The man killed at a corner store in downtown Wilmington has been identified.
The incident happened just before 7 p.m. Wednesday at Iggy’s Food Market on the corner of 27th and Tatnall in downtown Wilmington.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call where they found a patron, 45-year-old Stacey Tymes of Wilmington, with two gunshot wounds to the chest.
Tymes died of those injuries. No arrests have been made. Police continue to investigate what caused the incident.
