Wilmington’s Howard High School gets a visit today from Vice President Biden and US Secretary of Education Arne Duncan.
The occasion is to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Delaware being awarded a $100-million Race to the Top education reform grant. Howard High School of Technology is one of the first four schools to implement Race to the Top-funded programs to develop a transformation plan. The plan is to be fully implemented in the next school year.
