Utilities and agencies formulate ways to meet the energy needs of low-income Delawareans

Winter is not far away, and Delaware utilities and agencies are making plans today to address the energy concerns affecting low-income families.

Delmarva Power, its sister utility Pepco, and social service agency representatives are meeting in Dover to discuss funding available for the 2011-12 LIHEAP program (Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program.  National Fuel Funds Executive Director George Coling is the keynote speaker at the annual Low-Income Energy Assistance Summit.  Utilities are also highlighting new technologies and other methods customers can utilize to reduce their energy bills and conserve.  CLICK HERE to find out more from Delmarva Power.
