US Interior Secretary Ken Salazar will join state leaders in Slaughter Beach this afternoon to launch the Delaware Bayshore Initiative.
The effort is designed to increase conservation will providing outdoor recreation opportunities and spur the local economy. The project includes land acquisition and habitat restoration. It’s part of President Obama’s Great Outdoors Initiative.
