An unseasonably cool weekend is ahead at the Jersey Shore.

Cloudy skies will predominate on Saturday. There’s a chance of rain on Saturday morning as a low pressure system moves into the area. By the evening hours, rain chances will increase as a low pressure system passes offshore south of the region.

High temperatures will only rise to around 45 degrees on both days. The average temperature is around 58 degrees.

Sunday will be mostly sunny but it will feel cool with the breezy conditions. A northerly wind will be blowing at around 20 miles per hour, decreasing to around 10 miles per hour during the afternoon.
