Unseasonably cool, mostly sunny weekend ahead at the Shore

The average high temperature for March 10 is around 50 degrees.

An unseasonably cool weekend featuring mostly sunny skies is ahead, forecasters say.

Saturday and Sunday will feature similar conditions, with high temperatures in the lower 40s, according to NOAA. The average high temperature for March 10 is around 50 degrees.

A westerly breeze will blow up to around 20 mph on Saturday, becoming light out of the northwest and then north on Sunday.

Lows on Saturday night will drop down to around 30 degrees.

High pressure will be in control across the area on Saturday before weakening on Sunday. Some clouds will arrive later in the day on Sunday, and showers are possible at night.

The week will begin wet before skies clear on Tuesday. Temperatures won’t leave the 40s through at least Thursday.
