Unlicensed practicioner pleads guilty to third-degree murder at West Philadelphia abortion clinic
Another guilty plea is expected today in connection with Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s West Philadelphia abortion clinic.
“Dr. Steve” Masoff is set to plea to the charges against him, which include the murders of two viable babies. The 49-year-old, as the Daily News reports, is a med school graduate but never got a medical license or certification.
Update, 12:10 p.m. Masoff has entered his plea: guilty of two counts of third-degree murder, plus additional charges.
Just last week, two others pleaded guilty, making this the fourth plea. Another, from clinic worker Lynda Williams, could come next week. Gosnell could face the death penalty if convicted.
