Underground Railroad workshop

State transportation leaders host a workshop on plans for the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway.
Tonight’s workshop will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Wilmington Friends Meeting House.  A similar meeting will be held Wednesday in Camden.  The workshops give members of the public the opportunity to provide input on the byway’s Corridor Management Plan, a document designed to be a guide for development of the byway.  The byway corridor stretches 90 miles through Delaware, passing through the communities of Sandtown, Camden, Dover, Smyrna, Clayton, Townsend, Middletown, Odessa, Port Penn, Delaware City, New Castle, and Wilmington.
