Police said the boys were in the middle of a block in the Logan section of the city when they were hit shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Police said a 2-year-old boy suffered head trauma and was critically injured, while a 4-year-old boy was in stable condition with a broken right leg.
Both were taken to Albert Einstein Hospital by private vehicle and were to be transferred to St. Christopher’s Hospital.
