Two Pa. deaths probed as possible murder-suicide

    Authorities say the deaths of an elderly man and his daughter found in a suburban Philadelphia home are being investigated as a possible murder-suicide.

    The Doylestown Intelligencer says Pennridge police found the victims in the East Rockhill Township home late Saturday night.

    Chief David Mettin said both apparently had gunshot wounds.

    Sgt. Patrick Karcher of Pennridge Regional Police said the man was in his late 70s and the woman is believed to have been in her 60s.

    He said a caretaker found the bodies at about 9 p.m. Saturday, and investigators believe the deaths occurred a few hours earlier.
