Two men attempt to bust into Stenton Avenue bank vault and ATM

Police are searching for two males who broke into a Sovereign Bank in Mt. Airy last night.

The two suspects entered the bank, located at 8319 Stenton Ave., just after 10:15 p.m. and attempted to gain access to the ATM and bank vault with tools they brought into the branch with them. They fled in an unknown direction after failing to retrieve anything from the bank.

Police describe the first suspect as a 5-foot-10 black male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black gloves. The second suspect is described as a 5-foot-11 black male wearing a multi-colored sweatshirt and blue jeans.
