Two bodies found in parked car at Blackbird State Forest campground

Two people have been found dead inside a parked car in the Blackbird State Forest campground Thursday afternoon.

A passerby discovered the unresponsive victims in the car around 1:10 p.m. on the 500 block of Blackbird State Forest Rd. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Delaware State Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident but Sergeant Paul Shavack said no foul play is suspected. The bodies will be sent to the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsies and official cause of death.

 The ages and genders of the victims have not been released.
