The News Journal reports that court records state the pair walked into the Lancaster Market on Monday, then Dorsett pointed a gun at Muhuri and demanded cash. During a struggle, court documents say Dorsett shot Muhuri in the head. Dorsett and the teen then fled with $20.
Muhuri was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Police say Dorsett and the teen are charged with charged with murder, conspiracy, robbery and weapon-related offenses.
The Associated Press is not identifying the teen because he is a juvenile.
