Authorities are searching for a Toms River woman who went missing last week from the University of Maryland.

Kaitlyn George, 21, was reported missing from the College Park campus last Thursday evening, according to the University of Maryland Police Department.

Police describe the student as approximately five-foot, three-inches and 121 pounds, with hazel eyes and blonde hair.

She was last seen wearing black leggings, a green long sleeved jacket, and bright colored socks at mid-calf level. She possibly had a black and white camping backpack and a green canvas bag.

An ongoing investigation has revealed that George left the campus last Thursday evening in a taxi cab and was dropped off in front of a marina in the Federal Hill neighborhood in Baltimore City. She was then seen getting into another waiting vehicle (SUV) on her own accord and by herself, police said, adding that she was seen on a city bus the next morning.

Police do not suspect foul play.

Anyone with information on George’s whereabouts is asked to call the University of Maryland Police Department at 301-405-3555.
