Poll: When is the best time of year to go down the shore?

We’re coming up on the busiest time down the shore. The last two weeks of July and first two weeks of August hit that tourist sweet spot.

You’re almost guaranteed hot beach weather yet still have plenty of time to get ready for back to school (and for that last sunburn to fade).

But not everyone — myself included — thinks the best time of year to hit the beach is in that full summer heat.
