Tibetan protesters stop in Philadelphia en route to Washington, D.C.

    The Tibetan protesters WHYY’s Lizz Fiedler spotted yesterday were in the middle of a long journey. About half of them had walked to Philadelphia from New York, and are walking to Washington, D.C., to protest there.

    They are protesting the crackdown by Chinese security forces in a monastery in eastern Tibet.
