Thieves walk out of Walmart with TV

Delaware State Police are looking for two male suspects who walked out of the Walmart in New Castle without paying for a 32-inch flat screen television.

But there was one thing the TV thieves may not have considered: A clean shot by the store’s surveillance camera. While the suspects were stealing a television they were on television.

You can see the image of one of the suspects exiting the store above. Police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.

The incident happened just before noon on Wednesday at the Walmart on Wilton Blvd. Police say one suspect approached the exit doors of the store pushing a shopping cart that held the television. When the greeter asked him for the receipt the suspect pointed to the second suspect and stated that he had the receipt and then continued walking out of the store.

The greeter then asked the second suspect for the receipt but was told the first suspect had the receipt. The second suspect then walked out of the store.

A store employee attempted to stop both suspects outside of the store before they fled on foot.
