The blues are biting; good news for Delaware fishermen

There’s been a big jump in the number of fish caught in the Delaware beach surf and it couldn’t have come at a better time.

The Coastal Point reports the number of bluefish caught, some 24 inches long, are increasing just in time for the 14th annual Delaware Seashore Fall Surf Fishing Classic that begins next Saturday, September 24th.

Rough surf from the various storms that have rumbled up the Atlantic Coast has played a part in the fishing limitations, reports the Coastal Point.
