Here comes Spring!

Get a dose of the pending equinox as the 15th annual New Jersey Flower and Garden Show returns Feb. 23 through Feb. 26.

For four days, the New Jersey Convention and Exposition Center will be filled with colors of the coming season in fragrant display gardens and a standard flower show. This year’s theme, “Color The World”, will feature vibrant exhibits that pay homage to international destinations.

There will also be demonstrations on dried flower arrangement, decorating with edible flowers, landscape design, plus a flower container challenge and dueling designer competition.

For families with kids, there will be a “Growing Up Green” activity center, a junior flower show and The Great Zucchini Race, where children and parents create vehicles out of zucchini and race them down a 10-foot ramp.

Tickets cost $15 online or $20 at the show for adults ($12 and $15, respectively for seniors). Cost is $8 online or $10 at the show for kids ages 6 to 17 (under age 6 get in free).
