The SUSTAIN ECOLIBRIUM blog: Commerce Dept.’s Minority Biz Chief in Philly Friday

David A. Hinson, national director of the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) at the U.S. Department of Commerce, will be touring the Clean Energy Campus at the Navy Yard in South Philadelphia Friday afternoon (Jan. 21). 

Hinson’s guide will be James Gambino, a VP at Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania, who will be showing off the Yard’s brand new Greater Philadelphia Innovation Cluster for Energy Efficient Buildings (GPIC), while introducing him to some planned outreach and workforce development activities.

Other attendees include Ecolibrium‘s Natalia Olson-Urtecho (just back from a Clean Tech Summit in California); Theresa Flaherty, the director at the Wharton School’s Small Business Development Center; Joe Houldin , CEO of the Delaware Valley Industrial Resource Center; Paul Hallacher, director of program development for Penn State’s new facility at the Yard; and Leroy Bronner, a researcher for Industrial Engineering, Morgan State
